How does the eDLI limit work?
In the Grow App, you can set a limit for your eDLI (Extended Daily Light Integral), which represents the total amount of PPFD your plants receive while the lights are on.
How eDLI monitoring works
The Grow Sensor continually tracks eDLI using the light sensor and resets the value every 24 hours.
This ensures you always have an accurate, up-to-date reading whenever you check your graphs.
If your grow has a photoperiod (light/dark cycle), the reset happens in the middle of the dark period.
If you're running 24-hour lighting with no dark period, the reset occurs at midnight based on your location.
Setting eDLI limits
You can set a high eDLI limit, which notifies you when your plants have reached their target light threshold for the day. This helps you manage light exposure, prevent excess stress, and optimise growth.
