How does the eDLI limit work?

In the Grow App, you can set a limit for your eDLI (Extended Daily Light Integral), which represents the total amount of PPFD your plants receive while the lights are on.

How eDLI monitoring works

• The Grow Sensor continually tracks eDLI using the light sensor and resets the value every 24 hours.

• This ensures you always have an accurate, up-to-date reading whenever you check your graphs.

• If your grow has a photoperiod (light/dark cycle), the reset happens in the middle of the dark period.

• If you're running 24-hour lighting with no dark period, the reset occurs at midnight based on your location.

Setting eDLI limits

You can set a high eDLI limit, which notifies you when your plants have reached their target light threshold for the day. This helps you manage light exposure, prevent excess stress, and optimise growth.
